Plant Manager

 

We are currently assisting our client, a Global Leader in their industry, with an Plant Manager search near Columbus, OH. This candidate will be responsible for managing the manufacturing operations for the plant, and for finding opportunities for production process improvements, building and maintaining employee relations, and the overall increase of operations efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of supervisors, and laborers, to effectively perform production operations activities
• Lead and build solid working relationships with the plant employees
• Ensure daily area production requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality
• Liaison with all departments to exchange information on improving existing area manufacturing procedures and systems
• Maintain safety standards for all assigned areas by ensuring safety requirements are met and policies are adhered to
• Conduct regular, timely reviews and yearly performance review for all direct reports and ensure timely review of hourly personnel
• Actively participate and drive continuous improvement activities to ensure maximum results in reducing costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree required, preferably in engineering or related field
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, automotive strongly preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Supervisory experience

Total Compensation:

• $150,000 - $200,000
