Operations Manager

 

We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in their industry, with an Operations Manager search located near Harrisburg, PA. Reporting to the site’s Plant Manager, this position will have leadership responsibility for the safety and environmentally compliant operation of the facility. This is a highly visible, high impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization. Responsibilities:

• Lead the department to achieve a safety and environmental incident free workplace
• Provide leadership consistent with the organization's guiding principles to improve operational performances
• Continuously evaluate and identify constraints to eliminate quality and production bottlenecks and lead plans to improve current capability, and yield to improve relative competitive position
• Provide daily support and technical expertise to area operators and maintenance personnel

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering/Technical discipline OR at least 5 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in developing and implementing improvement processes and projects

Total Compensation:

• $110,000 - $140,000
