General Manager

 

We are currently assisting our client, an industry leader in their field, with a General Manager search located outside of Birmingham, AL. This position will be responsible for leading the business in the pursuit of continued growth, profitability, and meeting its commitments to customers, the company and to the employees. This highly visible assignment requires an accomplished leader, who will have the strategic responsibility to direct the development and implementation of product line strategies that meet current and future market needs and achieve profitability and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Drive results for plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, absenteeism, training, compliance, on-time program launch, communications, etc.
• Own Full operational & commercial P&L, budgets, forecasts and development and implementation of strategy
• Develop and execute short-and long-term business plans and strategies designed to assure the growth of revenue, profit and cash flow
• Provide leadership on major issues facing the organization, working collectively with support managers, and understanding all aspects of the business
• Drive product line growth—volume, share, and new customers
• Ensure the facilities annual sales revenue and profitability goals for are met
• Responsible for customer metrics for represented products

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments required
• Tier 1 automotive experience is required
